Farewell to Summer BBQ

It’s that bittersweet time of year when the days get shorter, the hoodies make a comeback, and someone inevitably says, “We should’ve booked one more weekend.”

Join us for our Farewell to Summer BBQ as we officially wrap up the season the only way we know how — with good food, great company, and a strong denial that summer is actually over.

We’ll be serving up classic BBQ favourites, cold drinks, and campground conversation that ranges from “best campsite of the season” to “remember when it rained for 14 straight hours and we still called it relaxing?”

This is a free community BBQ, with optional donations supporting our Camping for Kids charity — because if we’re going to say goodbye to summer, we might as well do it doing something good.

Expect:

• Hot BBQ classics and easy campground eats

• One last round of summer stories being slightly exaggerated

• Lawn chair philosophers reflecting on “how fast it went”

• Kids running around like it’s still July (respect)

• Campground friendships extending just a little longer

Bring your appetite, your best summer memories, and your refusal to accept that winter is “basically around the corner.”

We’re not saying goodbye to summer… just politely waving at it from the BBQ.
